I grew up in Riverdale and this bridge has been around for ages. My Grandfather used to work in the coal mines on the other side of the river, and my Mum would have to fetch the cow home from pasturing where the golf course is now...and walk her across this bridge. Many a dead body has been pulled out of the river from this bridge...the jumpers from the High Level somehow surface near Riverdale. Yikes. A cool monochromatic study. Well done. |
