The Dandy Warhols @ The Edmonton Events Centre: 5/30/07.

Nitrogen addiction aside Brent De Boer of The Dandy Warhols was so cool. I spotted him backstage making out with his Girlfriend (or Band-aid or Groupie or whatever you want to call the smokin' hot Babe he was with) so we grabbed our camera and walked right up like we belonged there and asked for a photo... pure unforgettable gold!

That fun aside, the Dandy Warhols show itself was horrible. Not because of the Dandy Warhols, they were great as far as we could hear -- and that's the major problem -- we couldn't hear anything! The sound was so washed out that almost every song was unlistenable. 3/4 into the show Courtney Taylor-Taylor (the lead singer) commented on the shitty sound and had to ask the sound guys to turn down the reverb on his mic because he was loosing his voice screaming into it.

Long story short, the Edmonton Events Centre is the worst venue in the city! STAY AWAY!
